Let’s Talk About The Aveda Rosemary Mint Shampoo

Is your hair looking a bit limp and lifeless, and no matter what products you use, your hair still looks flat? Well, this is a sign that you have buildup and need a clarifying shampoo to remove the styling products on your hair.

But for most people, a regular clarifying shampoo can be far too harsh for some hair types. It can be quite stripping and not suitable for damaged hair. This is what makes the Aveda Rosemary Mint Shampoo so great.

This purifying shampoo gently clarifies hair, leaving it squeaky clean, rest, and shiny. Unlike harsher alternatives, this Aveda shampoo is 96% naturally derived and clarifies hair using natural white vinegar and micelles.

Iy gently clarifies hair without stripping it, plus the invigorating blend of certified organic rosemary, peppermint, and spearmint energizes, awakens the sense, and improves focus. It leaves hair squeaky clean, and shiny.

In this review, I am going to be going through the key features of the Rosemary Mint Shampoo and come to the verdict as to whether it is worth the price tag. But if I know Aveda, then I’m sure it will be.

How The Aveda Rosemary Mint Shampoo Works:

So what is the Rosemary Mint Shampoo, and how does it work? This 96% naturally derived purifying shampoo is formulated with micelles and white vinegar, which gently clarifies hair without stripping it.

How white vinegar works in clarifying is it balances your hair and scalp’s pH. It lowers the pH of your scalp and balances it out after using alkaline shampoos. It unclogs pores and then helps to close the cuticle of your hair shaft.

When buildup on the hair is obvious, hair may seem frizzy, rough, and dull, but when the cuticle is closed, it leaves the hair feeling squeaky clean, reset, and shiny. White vinegar works wonders to help gently purify the hair without chemicals.

The micelles then gently remove product buildup and other impurities without disrupting the natural balance of the scalp and hair. In short, the micelles within this formula work to get your hair as clean as possible without being too harsh or aggressive on the hair.

It works to draw out impurities like dirt, oil, and environmental pollutants without being too harsh on your hair. These ingredients work together to revive the hair, clean, remove buildup and balance the pH on the scalp without being too harsh.

Who’s It For?

This shampoo is best for those with slightly damaged or brittle hair who suffer from buildup. Some clarifying shampoos are far too harsh for all hair types, especially damaged or weak hair types like curly hair.

This shampoo gently cleanses the hair and removes all buildup using natural ingredients that work to draw out impurities and balance the pH of the scalp, so hair feels squeaky clean.

It can be used on any hair type as it is so gentle but works wonders to get the job done. The natural blend of ingredients will offer nothing but benefits for your hair and improve the condition of your hair all in all.

What We Think Of The Aveda Rosemary Mint Shampoo:

Every girl has had to deal with buildup at least once in their life, it’s all the silicones and waxes we find in the drugstore products, so it’s time we go professional. I am devoted to making my hair feel clean, soft, and healthy.

Removing buildup is tricky if you don’t want to opt for a sulfate option. Still, it is not impossible if you go professional, which is why I love this formula as it is gentle super clarifying but not stripping whatsoever.

The smell is interesting; the minty fragrance will be sure to leave your hair smelling and feeling as clean as a whistle. The minty smell may be a little overwhelming for some people, but since you don’t need to use it every day, it is worth it.

Since this is still a purifying shampoo, you only really need to use it once every week or two, or once every month if you prefer– whenever you start to notice buildup on your hair. It is a brilliant shampoo as it leaves hair squeaky clean.

It lathers really easily, considering it is sulfate-free and cleanses the scalp as well as a sulfate shampoo would, without the stripping. A little also goes a long way as it is super concentrated, so you don’t need much to produce a lather.

One thing I love about this shampoo is that it keeps my hair cleaner for longer. I felt like I could go out all day, and my hair will still be fresh the next day. This is because it balances the pH of the scalp and removes excess oils, so hair appears less greasy.

It is perfect for anyone looking for a bit more of a good clean without stripping the hair.

In short, do I recommend this shampoo? Absolutely, the aroma is quite strong, and this shampoo is very concentrated, so you may only need the small bottle, and you may only need to use it once a week, alongside your other shampoo.

It works well as a weekly clarifying shampoo as it leaves hair feeling very clean balances the pH of my scalp without stripping the hair. It even helped promote hair growth as the peppermint can help to stimulate the scalp and create the perfect environment for growth.
