Let’s Talk About The Olaplex No 4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo:

If you have bleach or color-treated hair, then you’re bound to have heard of Olaplex. It is one of the biggest trending brands in the hair industry at the moment; Olaplex is a miracle worker for damaged hair.

Olaplex will be your best friend, especially for those who can’t get enough of the bleach blonde look. But what is Olaplex?

Olaplex has had a massive breakthrough in hair technology; its groundbreaking formula work on a molecular level to repair hair. It reconnects the broken disulfide sulfur bonds in the hair, which strengthens and repairs hair.

The Olaplex No.3 hair perfector treatment is what put Olaplex on the map. However, the Olaplex shampoo has stormed the market, especially on social media, and is very much loved amongst the bleach blonde community.

In this review, I will be covering how exactly The Olaplex No. 4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo works, whether it’s worth the hype, and my personal experience with the shampoo.

This nourishing and restorative shampoo will change your life.

How The Olaplex No. 4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo Works:

Olaplex No 4 is a bonding shampoo that is highly nourishing and reparative; it protects hairs from everyday stresses such as repairing split ends frizzy and damaged hair by relinking broken bonds. It is both color-safe and sulfate-free and ideal for everyday use.

It works with Olaplex No.5 Conditioner to add moisture without excess weight, making it ideal for all hair types and textures.

This color-safe shampoo protects and repairs damaged hair split ends and works to tame frizz. It repairs and protects hair from everyday stresses such as heat damage, environmental stresses, and chemical processing.

It works to relink broken bonds, leaving hair easier to manage– leaving hair feeling shinier and healthier after each use. Having Olaplex’s No.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo handy has transformed my hair from the very first day after using it!

Split ends will feel less split and stronger!

The quality of the No. 4 Shampoo is unbelievable, especially if you have breakage and damage-related frizz or dull dryness from color treatments; this shampoo will help strengthen hair and repair bonds from the root.

Hands down, it is the best shampoo I have ever used!

The Olaplex No.4 is also brilliant for those with greasy hair as it is so lightweight but concentrated, it deeply cleanses and restores hair from the scalp all the way to the ends. It helps combat your natural oils without stripping them.

The great thing about this shampoo is that it is super concentrated. A little goes a long way with this shampoo; just apply a dime-size amount and lather it up before use as it doubles in size and applies easier.

What We Think Of Olaplex No. 4 At Beautists:

Personally, I love Olaplex No. 4; it is super lightweight and smells addictive. It lathers up easily and keeps my hair super manageable after the wash day. I do feel there is a difference after using this shampoo.

It is super nourishing and restores my hair. It helps keep my blondie tones conditioned and helps prevent breakage in the process. Since bleached hair is already very brittle, the shampooing process can be damaging.

But since switching to Olaplex, I’ve noticed less breakage, less premature shedding, and all in all, my hair felt stronger and more hydrated. It protects hair during the entirety of the shampooing process, and it’s sulfate-free, so less harsh than other shampoos.

When paired with the Olaplex No.3 as a pre-shampoo treatment, it works wonders. There’s nothing better than rinsing out the Olaplex No.3 treatment and feeling the hard cast released to soft, luscious hair underneath.

However, I do have one drawback; my only drawback is that it may not be suitable for super oily hair. I find that when I wash my hair, it is greasy by the next day or two. Olaplex is wonderful, but if you have oily hair, it doesn’t banish that oil completely.

I found after using Olaplex shampoo; my hair needed washing again on day two. I manage to stretch it to day 3 or 4 with dry shampooing, but for extremely oily hair types like mine, Olaplex may not be suitable.

However, this may not be the case for everyone, so try out the shampoo; see what you think as every hair type is different!
